Sandra Smith brings abundance, passion, and dedication to all that she does for Break Free Family Centre. Her wealth of experience in health care and education is what makes Sandra the perfect fit for the highlighted role of Treasurer for our organization.
Sandra Smith brings abundance, passion, and dedication to all that she does for Break Free Family Centre. Her wealth of experience in health care and education is what makes Sandra the perfect fit for the highlighted role of Treasurer for our organization.
When it comes to traits, she carries that perfect role model example of leadership, generosity, time management skills and most of all compassion. It all began for Sandra when she was a registered practical nurse in 1995, and then retired after almost 25 years of service in health care. Sandra took the liberty of further extending her studies to Education. For the last 25 years she has been an elementary school teacher with the TDSB (Toronto District School Board) and loved to work with adults and children.
Sandra’s hospitality and passion drew her involvement in community work and volunteerism to the maximum. This led her to accomplish and succeed in all areas of her careers. Sandra was the Vice President of “The Mico Alumni Association” in Canada for 2 years. Her time was also offered in the position of assistant secretary for a continuous 2 years. Her hard work and ability to create positive change was reflected on Hampton High School and Munro College. Sandra has donated and touched upon many places in Toronto. She is also an active member in church, teaching Sunday school classes and joining fundraising committees.
On her spare time, you can find Sandra gardening and expressing her joys in having a green thumb! Traveling to explore and experience different parts of the world are essential for her, while also spending quality time with those whom she cherishes the most, her family and friends.
For Sandra’s efforts in love for humanity, respect, and community involvement, she will make a tremendous impact on the Board for Break Free Family Centre. She is excited to yet further her experience in volunteer work, while taking on this special role for this amazing Centre. Break Free is adoring her ideas, opinions, and warm radiant energy!
